Operations and CRM Associate

HighBank has seeking to fill an Operations and CRM Associate position in our Baltimore, Maryland office.

This position reports to, and will work closely with, the firm’s Chief Operating Officer and is involved in all operational areas of the business – human resource, marketing, administration, infrastructure, financial reporting. This individual will have a key role in supporting our CRM and related data management activities.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working across the breadth of operational activities required to run a small, growing business. The successful candidate will be expected to leverage a broad range of administrative, marketing, communications, data management, reporting, and organizational skills.  

Summary of Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM)/Data Management: Support a broad range of activities leveraging the firm’s CRM database, including maintaining and running various reports, updating critical data in the system, and downloading and sorting large volumes of information in support of various mailings and marketing campaigns targeting potential clients and referral sources.
  • Marketing: Maintain the firm’s standard marketing materials and support the development of new marketing content, including managing a content calendar, driving the production and review process, and assisting in preparing final content for distribution. Support additional tasks required to implement the firm’s marketing strategy.
  • Website: Maintain the firm’s website; including adding and updating web content and supporting key initiatives related to the firm’s digital marketing strategy. Assist with data tracking, analytics and reporting on marketing metrics.
  • Events: Support the planning and execution of internal and external firm events.
  • Human Resources: Assist with recruiting activities and onboarding new employees.
  • Finance: Support the compilation of a broad range of monthly reports.
  • Administration: Complete other regular and ad hoc administrative and office support tasks as requested.

Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of two years of related professional experience.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel must include familiarity with formulas, pivot tables, and data sorting.
  • Exhibits a high level of expertise in creating “presentation-ready” documents in Word and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
  • Strong writing skills and demonstrated proficiency in grammar and proofreading.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of creativity and a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to manage several simultaneous projects and resources without losing focus.
  • Motivated self-starter requiring limited supervision but also understands the value of being a team player.
